The Life and Work of WB Yeats’ in the National Library of Ireland, described today as “magnificent” by the judges of the UK’s AHI (Association of Heritage Interpretation) was designed by Martello Media, Ireland’s international firm of ‘Narrative Architects’.
At a ceremony aboard the SS Great Britain in Bristol, Lloyd Grossman awarded it the ‘Interpret Britain and Ireland Award’ following one of the highest judges markings in the history of these awards. The judges citation concludes;-
“ The whole entry is totally outstanding and an unmissable experience for any visitor to Dublin interested in Irish history and culture.”
Martello uniquely combine architects, designers, film-makers with web/multimedia developers and audiovisual hardware specialists in a single creative team. Martello have won previous AHI Awards for their work in the Herschel Museum in Bath, Kilmainham Gaol in Dublin, and the Glendalough in Visitor Centre in Wicklow.
